SavorCity is the English-language edition of the same dining engine, aimed at the US market. Eight verticals — restaurants, BBQ and smokehouses, burger joints, pizzerias, coffee shops, bars and breweries, bakeries and donuts, ice cream and frozen treats — carry 48 guides.
The editorial promise stays constant across all three markets: value and pricing transparency over culinary prestige. In the US that means tipping, junk fees and menu inflation rather than couvert or propina.
BBQ and smokehouses, burger joints and craft breweries are categories the Brazilian and Mexican editions do not have. The content tree is rebuilt around what Americans actually search for before going out.
News explains prices instead of reporting them: why a 30% drop in coffee futures never reached the $7 latte, why a $35 brisket plate tracks the smallest cattle herd in decades, what 434 brewery closures say about craft beer.
Portuguese, Spanish and English editions share ingestion, storage, rendering and schema. Each market gets its own domain, currency, consumer-rights framing and category tree — the marginal cost of the third edition was editorial, not engineering.
